What makes Grizzly Fishing sunglasses different?

Most fishing sunglasses give you one fixed lens. Grizzly gives you one frame with multiple polarized lenses, so you can match your lens to the light, water, and conditions you’re fishing in.

Polarization cuts glare, but lens color also matters. That’s why many serious anglers carry more than one pair of sunglasses. The Grizzly Pro Kit gives you that same flexibility in one kit.

What comes in the Grizzly Pro Kit?

The Pro Kit includes one Grizzly fishing frame, four interchangeable polarized lenses, a protective hard case, soft pouch, cleaning cloth, and lanyard.

The standard four lenses are built to cover the most common fishing conditions: blue mirror, green mirror, amber, and grey.

Are the lenses polarized?

Yes. All Grizzly Pro Kit lenses are polarized to help cut surface glare so you can see more clearly into the water.

Do they block UV rays?

Yes. Grizzly lenses provide UV400 protection, which means they are designed to block harmful UVA and UVB rays.

Are the lenses glass or plastic?

Grizzly lenses are made from TAC, a lightweight performance lens material. TAC lenses offer strong clarity, glare reduction, UV protection, and scratch resistance without the added weight of glass.

What are the frames made from?

The frames are made from TR-90, a lightweight and flexible material commonly used in performance sunglasses. The frame is designed to be durable, comfortable, and adjustable enough to fit most anglers.

Are these only for fishing?

They are built specifically for fishing, but you can wear them anywhere you would wear regular sunglasses. They work well for boating, driving, hiking, camping, beach days, and everyday sun protection.

Do the sunglasses float?

The sunglasses are not designed to float. If you are fishing from a boat, kayak, dock, or around deep water, we recommend using the included lanyard for extra security.

Where are Grizzly sunglasses made?

Grizzly sunglasses are manufactured in China by a trusted factory that produces our custom fishing sunglass designs. Our inventory is then warehoused and shipped from Pennsylvania, USA for fast delivery.

Right Lens. Right Condition.

Lens & Performance Questions

Polarization cuts glare. Lens color helps your eyes read different water, light, depth, and structure conditions.

Do Grizzly sunglasses actually help you see fish?

They help by cutting surface glare, which makes it easier to see below the water when water clarity allows. That can help you spot fish, structure, rocks, weeds, depth changes, and underwater movement more clearly.

No sunglasses can magically see through dirty or muddy water, but a good polarized lens can make a huge difference when glare is the main thing blocking your view.

Can they see through murky water?

No sunglasses can truly see through murky water. You still need some level of water clarity. What Grizzly lenses do is cut glare off the surface, which helps you see more of what is already visible below the water.

For lower light, stained water, or murkier conditions, amber or yellow-style lenses usually offer the most contrast.

Are these better than regular polarized sunglasses?

Regular polarized sunglasses can help, but the issue is that one lens color does not perform best in every condition. Bright offshore sun, cloudy freshwater mornings, shallow inshore flats, and everyday full sun all benefit from different lens tints.

Grizzly gives you multiple polarized lenses so you can change your setup instead of being stuck with one compromise lens all day.

How do they compare to Costa or other premium sunglasses?

Costa and other premium brands make good sunglasses, but they are usually expensive and often come with one fixed lens. Grizzly is built around value and versatility: one frame, multiple polarized lenses, and coverage for different fishing conditions at a much lower price than buying multiple premium pairs.

Why does lens color matter if they are already polarized?

Polarization cuts glare. Lens color changes contrast, brightness, and how your eyes read water, structure, and depth. That is why different lenses work better in different conditions.

A grey lens may feel best in bright sun, while amber can make structure pop in lower light. Green mirror can help with shallow water contrast, while blue mirror is great for harsh sun and open water.

Which lens should I use for bright sun?

Use the grey lens or blue mirror lens for bright sun. Grey gives you neutral color and strong light reduction. Blue mirror is especially useful for harsh sun, open water, and offshore-style conditions.

Which lens should I use for open water or offshore fishing?

The blue mirror lens is a great choice for open water, bright sun, and heavy glare. It is designed for big reflective water where glare can be intense.

Which lens should I use for shallow water, rivers, or inshore fishing?

The green mirror lens is a strong choice for shallow water, rivers, inshore fishing, and mixed sun/cloud conditions. It helps boost contrast and makes it easier to read water, structure, weeds, and bottom changes.

Which lens should I use for cloudy days, dawn, or dusk?

The amber lens is best for low light, cloudy weather, early mornings, and evening fishing. It boosts contrast and helps your eyes pick up structure and movement when the light is flatter.

Which lens should I use for everyday wear?

The grey lens is usually the most neutral everyday option. It cuts brightness without changing color as much as higher-contrast lenses.

Are the mirror lenses just for looks?

No. Mirror coatings help reflect light away from the eye and reduce brightness in high-glare environments. They also look good, but the main purpose is performance on the water.

Can I buy replacement lenses?

Yes. Replacement lenses, frames, and small parts are available in our replacement parts collection when in stock. This is one of the benefits of the interchangeable system: you do not need to replace the whole kit if you only need a new lens or frame.

💡
Fit Tip

Room temperature frames are easiest to adjust. If the sunglasses are cold, warm them in your hands for a minute before making small fit adjustments.

Are Grizzly sunglasses one size fits all?

They come in one flexible adult size that fits most people. The TR-90 frame can be gently adjusted wider or tighter to improve comfort.

Do they fit big heads?

Yes, they fit many customers with larger heads because the frame has some flexibility. If they feel tight at first, the arms can be gently bent outward to loosen the fit.

What if they feel too tight?

The frame can be gently stretched. Hold the frame at both temples, apply gentle outward pressure, hold for a few seconds, and test the fit. Repeat in small adjustments until comfortable.

What if they feel too loose?

You can gently bend the arms inward to tighten the fit. Make small adjustments and test the fit as you go.

Will they fit kids?

The frames are designed for adults, but many older kids with medium-to-larger faces can wear them comfortably. Younger kids or smaller faces may find them loose or wide.

If the fit is not right, the 60-day money-back guarantee gives you time to try them.

Do you sell youth sizes?

Not at this time. Grizzly currently offers one adult frame size.

Do they fit over prescription glasses?

No. Grizzly sunglasses are not designed as fit-over sunglasses and will not comfortably fit over most prescription glasses.

Do you offer prescription lenses?

No. We do not currently offer prescription Grizzly lenses.

Do you offer readers, bifocals, or magnified lenses?

No. We do not currently offer readers, bifocals, or magnified lenses.

Do you offer clip-ons or fit-overs?

No. We do not currently offer fit-overs or clip-ons, but it is something we may explore in the future.

Keep Them Clear

Care & Maintenance

Polarized lenses have performance coatings. A quick rinse and proper storage will keep them fishing-ready for longer.

How should I clean the lenses?

Rinse the lenses with fresh water first, especially after saltwater use. Then dry them with a clean microfiber cloth.

Avoid wiping dry lenses when there is dirt, sand, salt, or grit on them, because that can scratch the coating.

Can I use my shirt to clean them?

We do not recommend it. Shirts, paper towels, and rough cloths can create tiny scratches over time. Use the included microfiber cloth whenever possible.

Can I use lens cleaner?

Yes, a non-alcohol lens cleaner is fine for stubborn smudges. Avoid harsh chemicals or household cleaners.

What should I avoid getting on the lenses?

Avoid sunscreen, lotions, bug spray, alcohol, acetone, household cleaners, and other harsh chemicals. These can damage lens coatings over time.

Can saltwater damage the lenses?

Saltwater is part of fishing, but salt crystals can damage lens coatings if they dry on the lens and then get rubbed. After saltwater use, rinse the lenses and frame with fresh water before wiping or storing them.

Can heat damage the sunglasses?

Yes. Avoid leaving the sunglasses on a hot dashboard or in extreme heat for long periods. Prolonged heat can damage lens coatings or affect the lens film.

How should I store the lenses?

Store the sunglasses and extra lenses in the included case when not in use. Keeping lenses separated and protected helps prevent scratches.

What if my lens coating starts peeling?

Contact Grizzly support with your order information and photos of the issue. Manufacturing defects are covered by the craftsmanship warranty, but damage from saltwater buildup, sunscreen, lotions, bug spray, chemicals, or extreme heat may not be covered.

What if my nose pieces come off?

Replacement nose pieces and other parts may be available in our replacement parts collection. Nose pieces are designed to snap into place. If needed, a small amount of suitable adhesive can help keep them secure.

Will I get tracking?

Yes. You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking once your order ships.

My tracking says “pre-shipment.” What does that mean?

Pre-shipment usually means the label has been created but USPS has not scanned the physical package yet. This can be normal for 24–48 hours, especially around weekends or busy shipping periods.

My tracking says delivered, but I do not see the package. What should I do?

First, check your mailbox, porch, side doors, garage area, and with anyone else in the household. It is also worth checking with neighbors in case it was delivered nearby by mistake.

Sometimes carriers mark packages as delivered slightly early. If it still has not shown up after 24 hours, contact your local post office with the tracking number or file a missing mail search with USPS.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

Contact us as quickly as possible. Our warehouse moves fast, so we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations once an order has been fulfilled or shipped.

If the order has already shipped, you can still contact us about return options once it arrives.
