Every lens is engineered for a specific light condition and water type. Here's how to pick the right one before you head out.
You can swap lenses dockside in under 30 seconds. It feels weird the first time — just be confident with it. The frame and lenses are built to take it.
Fold down the arm and lift the small locking tab near the temple. This releases the lens retention system.
Place your thumb on the inside of the lens and press firmly outward. Don't be timid — the lenses and frame are built tough and won't break from a firm push.
Hold the lens so the flat top edge lines up with the top of the frame. Start at the nose bridge and press the lens into the channel.
Work your way from nose to temple, pressing the lens edge into the groove. You'll hear a click at the temple when it's locked. Confirm the locking tab is closed.
Run your thumb around the full lens perimeter to make sure no edge is sitting proud of the frame. If it looks even, you're good to fish.
Your TR-90 frame is slightly moldable — you can stretch or tighten it to match your head shape. Takes 30 seconds and makes a real difference in all-day comfort on the water.
Polarized lenses have a coating that does the heavy lifting. Treat it right and these lenses will stay crystal clear for seasons. Treat it wrong and you'll degrade the coating fast.

The copper-amber lens is your workhorse for most freshwater mornings. When the sun climbs and glare kicks in, swap to Full Sun — takes 20 seconds.
Tilt your head slightly when scanning structure. At certain angles the polarized lens cuts glare completely and you'll see depth you didn't know was there.
Changing on the water is easy, but starting with the right lens saves you the first 30 minutes of adjustment. Check conditions before you launch.
Salt crystals are abrasive. After every saltwater session, rinse the full frame and lenses with fresh water before putting them in the case. 10 seconds, saves the coating.
